Carnfield Hall is situated on the B6019 between Alfreton and South Normanton, 1 ½ miles west of junction 28 of the M1 (on the left side of the road travelling from the M1, and on the right travelling from Alfreton) and 500 yards east of Alfreton Railway Station. There is also a bus stop outside the main gate.

Look out for the 18th Century curved Milestone at the end of the drive and wooden barrier, opposite EPC UK, Rough Close Works. You will see two big, red, private road signs. The entrance is on the right travelling from Alfreton, and on the left travelling from the M1.
